Our next distribution will be Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Joy Park Community Center, 825 James Ingram Way (street sign still says Fuller, but GPS will say James Ingram Way) from 2-3:30, using a drive-by model, first come first served.

Many children in the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority area head straight to our hot meal program. For most, this is their only dinner.
Almost 80 percent of our diners at that weekly meal are children.
Darla and her husband try to make ends meet living on a social security check just above $1,000 a month.
Many times she cannot afford to buy groceries for her three grandchildren who she helps raise.
Patricia, a former teacher, went through her savings and lost her home while waiting to get on medical disability.
She depends on Good Samaritan to augment her food purchases.
